DMB Caravan Comes to Governors Island and the Gorge

The Dave Matthews Band Caravan will travel to Governors Island, New York City, August 26th-28th and make its final stop of the year at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA on Labor Day Weekend, September 2nd-4th. DMB will perform a headlining set each night with performances by a diverse lineup of musical talent taking place on multiple stages throughout each day. Governors Island, a 172-acre island in the heart of New York Harbor, offers spectacular views of the New York City skyline and five miles of vehicle-free bicycle trails. The island is only 800 yards from Lower Manhattan and even closer to Brooklyn. Recently named one of America's coolest urban parks by Travel + Leisure magazine, it will be accessible by free concert specific ferries at designated locations.

The Gorge will mark Dave Matthews Band's only West Coast performances of 2011. The Gorge Amphitheatre's breathtaking location offers sweeping views of the Columbia River and the Columbia Gorge Canyon. It is easily accessible from such nearby metropolitan areas as Seattle, Spokane, Portland and Vancouver.

The Warehouse fan association presale for Governors Island will begin Monday, April 25th at 10 am ET. Presale for the Gorge will begin on Thursday, April 28th at 10 am PT. Three-day tickets and VIP Packages as well as Gorge Camping Passes and New York City Preferred Room Rate Hotel Blocks will be available for purchase. Warehouse members will receive a voucher redeemable on site for a complimentary gift item for every ticket purchased. The Citi® cardmember Governors Island presale for 3-day tickets and VIP Packages will begin on Monday, April 25th at 10 am ET through Citi's Private Pass® Program and the Gorge presale will begin on Monday, May 2nd at 10 am PT.
